I’m Gemma - a Sydney-based newborn and family photographer with over twenty years of professional experience and a deep understanding of how family life really works.

Photography has been my career since my teens. I trained, worked in studios, and have spent many years photographing families in their homes - where real memories live. Babies have their own schedule, toddlers set the pace, and the day finds its own rhythm.

That experience means I stay steady, adaptable, and quietly confident, whatever the day brings.

I don’t believe great photographs come from perfect behaviour or carefully constructed moments. They come from paying attention to beautiful light, easy connection, and the quiet moments that unfold when you’re gently guided and free to simply be yourselves.

These are the details often overlooked in the moment and treasured later.

Outside of work, I live in the Sutherland Shire with my beautiful boys and our menagerie of animals. I love time in nature, long walks, a good G&T, plenty of silliness, and meaningful time with my favourite people.

Living family life myself keeps my expectations grounded and my sense of humour intact.
